"This was our third or fourth stay at the McCloud River Inn, and we just love the place.  Ursula, the owner, is very friendly and serves a hearty and delicious breakfast.  The place is very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the furnishings tastefully honor the building's long history.  We also love McCloud itself, which is a much quieter, more laid-back alternative to the town of Mt. "We just returned from a night at McCloud River Inn. Very cozy, charming inn! Check-in was a breeze with ample parking and fresh chocolate chip cookies an added bonus! Nice touches of fresh flowers and Hershey kisses throughout the room! The town was so quiet and peaceful during our sleep! We slept with the windows open and the lace curtains gently swayed in the breeze all night! The Inn is within walking distance to the Shasta Dinner Train and the town's shops. We will definitely be back!"

"My husband and I stayed at the McCloud River Inn for one night and were very pleased with the accommodations. The room we had, which was spotless, was on the second floor away from the other guest rooms, and was very quiet. The oversize in-room jetted tub was very relaxing after a long drive. The little town of McCloud has quite a bit of history. If you are in the Mt. Shasta area and are looking for a place to stay, we highly recommend the McCloud River Inn."

"We splurged for the suite with the in-room jacuzzi. What fun! The inn is quiet and beautifully decorated. The town of McCloud is pretty low-key, especially in the winter. But we had a great time walking, shopping, and building a snowman across the street from the inn. Everything in town is within easy walking distance, including the Mt. Shasta dinner train."
